Many manufacturers draw the line when it comes to personalisation of front door handles and custom manufacturing. They tend to offer customers only standard products. At Griffing, we accommodate the needs of our customers in two ways: by producing customised front door handles, and by personalising our standard offer. Manufacturing customised door handles requires the development of an entire production line according to the customer’s wishes, which is why we work with you individually, collaborating from the very beginning of the development process. A variety of personalisation and customisation processes can be applied to Prime Line and Vision Line door handles. Find out more below.
1. Manufacturing of custom-made door handles for front doors
If you cannot find what you are looking for in our standard offer, we can create a special line of door handles based on your wishes (this option is available for larger orders only). We shall collaborate with you individually from the very beginning of the development, to produce the unique handle you desire.
Send us your plans, present your ideas, and we will explore custom manufacturing options together.
Our production is set in more than 1000 m2 with a large assortment of machinery and 18 modern multiaxis CNC turning and milling machines. This is how we ensure the production and delivery of large quantities while maintaining a high level of precision alongside custom manufacturing.
We will cooperate with you from the development phase on, thus creating a line of handles according to your wishes and needs.
2. Personalisation of Vision Line front door handles
Vision Line front door handles are considered premium door handles on which personalisation is mainly achieved with various inserts.
Insert produced by a door manufacturer from a chosen material
An insert can be made by a door manufacturer from a chosen material, allowing us to produce only the door handle frame. We will provide you with a plan showing the dimensions of the insert, which has to be 3 mm thick.

Wood, glass and aluminium inserts
For a unique look of door handles and front doors, you can choose an insert made of:
- wood (walnut, oak),
- aluminium,
- or glass.
In addition to your own chosen material, inserts can be made of wood (walnut, oak), aluminium, or glass.
Coloured inserts
The standard offer of coloured inserts includes black RAL 9005 FS colour. On request, we also provide other colours according to the RAL colour scale.
Aluminium and glass inserts can be painted according to the RAL colour scale.
Digital printing on inserts
We can print photos, address, family name, street number and other various chosen designs on the glass.
Customised length
Vision Line door handles have standard lengths, however, in case of larger orders we can adjust them to your wishes.
Installation of fingerprint scanner and LED lights
A door handle can be upgraded with a built-in fingerprint scanner and LED lights. We usually install ekey and Navkom fingerprint scanners, but if you wish to have a fingerprint scanner from your chosen manufacturer, we can look into installation options.
3. Personalisation of Prime Line front door handles
Prime Line front door handles are known for a wide selection of different design styles. The door handles were divided into eight main lines based on their shape. This line allows the most individual adjustments.
Customised length
With Prime Line door handles you do not have to limit yourself to standard lengths, instead you can choose your own.
The distances between the mounts are based on the principle of the golden ratio, which has proven to be the most comfortable ratio. However, that does not mean that we cannot adjust them to your liking.
The distances between the handle mounts in line with the principle of golden ratio contribute to the structural strength of both the door handle and the entire front door.
Coloured door handles for front doors
The standard offer of coloured door handles includes black RAL 9005 FS colour. On request, we also provide other colours according to the RAL colour scale.
Black door handles for front doors are a growing trend, as black is currently among the most modern colours for door handles.
Aesthetic accessories for the top and bottom of a door handle
You can opt for aesthetic finishes to adorn the top and bottom of a door handle. We offer six different finishes for the front door to stand out even more.
Our latest aesthetic finish for the top and bottom of the door handle was inspired by the Indian mausoleum of the Taj Mahal.
Premium rosettes
The premium rosettes for 90 and 45-degree door handles with round mounts ensure greater handle stability due to the increased contact area between the door handle and door.
Varied curves
Certain lines of door handles allow a custom curve, which is limited only by the bending ability of stainless steel. For more information send an inquiry to sales@griffing.si.

Installation of fingerprint scanner, button and doorbell
Door handles can be upgraded with a fingerprint scanner, a button for unlocking, or a doorbell. We usually install ekey and Navkom fingerprint scanners, but if you wish to have a fingerprint scanner from your chosen manufacturer, we can look into installation options.
Fitting a fingerprint scanner directly into the door handle is the most practical, because people touch it either way when opening the door. Upgrading with built-in LED lights is also possible.
