Milling is a process by which a milling tool cuts metal using rotary motion.
HOW IS METAL MILLING DONE?
A piece of metal is inserted into a milling machine and then machined using a wide range of tools with different diameters and hardness. A milling cutter with multiple cutting edges moves perpendicular to its axis so that the cutting takes place along the perimeter of the milling cutter. It removes excess material from the metal to render the desired shape.
